blssm is a small online handmade clothing business, owned and ran in Des Moines, Iowa by me, Ella Neades. I am a 20 year-old with a passion for fashion and sewing. My goal with creating this business is to spread awareness about the dangers of fast fashion, while incorporating what I love most, making clothes! My hope is to influence others who see my site to reflect on the places they typically purchase their attire from and ultimately encourage them to shop more ethically and sustainably whether or not that is with my brand. blssm takes part in the movement of sustainability by packaging all garments using eco-friendly products. These items include, 100% recycled poly mailers, natural hemp twine, and labels using a zero waste release liner.
